The opportunity

As the HR & Talent Acquisition Manager at Jadu, you will report directly to the Director of Finance & Operations. This is a unique role focused on talent acquisition and building culture & policies within our company. With your experience sourcing talent and managing recruiting platforms, you’ll be filling a critical role in our rapidly growing company.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will own the recruiting process from end-to-end, sourcing, interviewing and hiring top talent across many departments including, but not limited to, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Ops, Game Dev and Community
  • Develop processes including sourcing talent, applicant flow, screening, interviewing, background checks, references and selection
  • Manage posting of job openings on job boards, corporate career websites, and other possible channels through Greenhouse and LinkedIn
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to verify if position and culture requirements are met and present resumes to hiring managers
  • Identify hiring barriers, and implement solutions to resolve, and escalate issues to the Director of Finance & Operations
  • Liaise between incoming employees and HR solution partners 
  • Assist employees with onboarding forms, information requests and other tasks
  • Design policies, procedures and documentation to allow for a seamless onboarding experience for newly hired employees and contractors 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation; ongoing maintenance to ensure required documents are collected and filed appropriately
  • Assist in building company culture and create overall excitement among employees through team building and social experiences (remote & in-person)

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience with candidate management systems & databases
  • Knowledge of professional platforms such as LinkedIn, Greenhouse, Bamboo, Carta, Indeed, etc
  • Basic and foundational knowledge of the full cycle of recruiting
  • You are comfortable working with remote teams, candidates and hiring managers
  • You are comfortable writing job descriptions, engaging in candidate correspondence, and managing internal communications
